B3347 Ringwood Road crash: two dogs die and two people hurt

A MOTORCYCLIST and dog walker sustained serious injuries and two dogs died following a crash near Ringwood.

The incident on the B3347 Ringwood Road between Kingston and Bisterne happened at around 7.30am on Tuesday, August 9.

A blue Suzuki motorcycle traveling south on Ringwood Road was involved in a collision with a pedestrian near the junction with Dragon Lane.

Both the motorcyclist and pedestrian sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

A dog died at the scene, while another was euthanized at a local vet a short while later.

Police have now issued an appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “Officers have been carrying out extensive inquiries to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the incident, but they are now appealing to the public for information.

“Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness the collision?

“Do you have any dash-cam footage in the moments leading up to or footage of the incident as it happened, that could help aid the investigation?”
