Flint Handmade to host 15th annual Holiday Craft Market

FLINT, MI – Flint Handmade is hosting its 15th annual Holiday Craft Market to help people with their shopping needs in downtown Flint.

The event is on Saturday, Nov. 26 from 10 am to 4 pm in the Ramsdell Room at the Flint Farmers’ Market.

Admission is free.

The Holiday Craft Market will feature over 20 local artisans with modern handmade goods that make great gifts for the holidays such as home decor, vintage-inspired jewelry, hand-poured candles and natural bath and body products.

Live music will be provided by Erik McIntyre and Shannon Wade.

“Flint Handmade is so excited to be hosting our 15th annual Holiday Craft Market. It’s been wonderful to work with local artisans these past 15 years to showcase their work and support their small businesses,” said Crystal Pepperdine, executive director of Flint Handmade, in a news release.

Local artisan Jenn Alexander of Allora Art and Design will be selling at the event.

“I love participating in Flint Handmade Craft Markets, especially on Small Business Saturday,” Alexander said. “There’s so much to do. After people visit us in the Ramsdell Room, they can have lunch at the Farmers’ Market and check out all of the other local businesses in Downtown Flint. Plus, the Cultural Center has tons of activities for all ages. It’s so important to support our local economy because those dollars go right back into our community.”
