Two of Missouri S&T’s graduate online engineering programs are among the top 10 nationwide, according to US News & World Report‘s 2023 Best Online Master’s in Engineering Program rankings, released today (Tuesday, Jan. 24).
S&T’s online master’s degree program in engineering management ranks sixth in the nation in that category and eighth in the nation in the industrial engineering category.
Missouri S&T’s master’s degree program in engineering management was the nation’s first, established in 1979. Engineering management and systems engineering is one of three founding departments of the Kummer College of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development, which was established in 2022 and made possible by the transformative $300 million gift from June and the late Fred Kummer, a Missouri S&T graduate.
“At Missouri S&T, we’re known for outstanding engineering management programs and our graduates are sought by leading employers,” says Dr. Susan L. Murray, acting vice provost and dean of the Kummer College. “We are pleased to see our peers recognize our programs as truly exceptional for professionals seeking advanced degrees.”
