Souderton Art Jam celebrates 10 years with art, crafts, food, music

SOUDERTON — The Souderton Art Jam celebrates 10 years, Saturday, Sept. 24, from 10 am to 5 pm The event is held at 459 Wile Ave., Souderton, between Souderton Community Park & ​​Pool.

Hosted by Souderton Connects, Souderton Art Jam celebrates its 10th Anniversary by bringing the community together with art, crafts, live music, food, and much more. This free, family-friendly, dog-friendly festival features work from more than 40 unique artisans located up and down the East Coast.

A juried art show occurs during Souderton Art Jam, where exhibiting artists may enter a piece of work to be judged by a panel of art industry professionals. Monetary prizes are awarded in categories including Fine Art, Fine Craft, and Jewelry.

Live music located on Wile Avenue near the Souderton Pool entrance includes:
— Sarah Heine, 10 to 11 am
— Jack O’Leary, 11:15 am to 12:15 pm
— Tuesday Night Special, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m
— The Wonton Soups, 3 to 5 p.m

Artists include Autdemna Jewelers, Botanical Funk, Harry Boardman, Knit2Weave, Maddy Made Pottery, Ochre Nest Art Studio, and many more. For a complete list of artists, click here.

Vendors and food trucks include: Blueprint Taphouse, KLYR Rum, and Bishop Estate Winery.

Food trucks: Bake’n Bacon, Bonjour Creperie, Philly Funnel Cake, Shelbys Sweet Things, Van Pelt Hot Dog Co.
